Recently, representatives from NOVODAN, led by Dr. Lê Quý Vang, attended the general assembly of the PAIR project in Padova, Italy. Twenty partners, including universities, hospitals, and enterprises from across Europe, attended the session.
During the general assembly of the PAIR project, partners presented, discussed, and updated the progress of the PAIR project over the past nine months. They also addressed issues and proposed next steps to accelerate the project’s progress.
NOVODAN is responsible for completing two out of three work packages in developing PANRISK software, a platform applying big data and artificial intelligence to predict epidemic risks in Europe. At the PANRISK meeting room, NOVODAN presented the initial and critical steps in designing and developing PANRISK and provided a preliminary demo.
The partners highly appreciated and provided constructive feedback to further develop PANRISK into a truly useful application for users, primarily professionals in epidemic prevention and control. Moreover, the partners expressed their enthusiasm for the potential of PANRISK to contribute significantly to improving public health and safety.
PAIR, a new European Union-funded project, aims to revolutionize point-of-care diagnostics and epidemiological modeling. Through scientific research and innovation, PAIR seeks to significantly advance the One Health approach.
To bolster pandemic preparedness, PAIR is developing two groundbreaking tools: PANPOC and PANRISK. These innovative tools will be implemented and validated by veterinary and clinical professionals in Denmark, France, Latvia, Italy, and Spain.
