Chest X-ray Syndrome Detection: Developing an application using machine learning to detect 12 syndromes through X-ray images.
  • Data pre-processing: Resolving the unbalanced and multi-label problems dataset by using Stratified group k-fold in Scikit-learn; merging multiple bounding boxes label to lower the noise by using the weighted-boxes-fusion method.
  • Model Training: Training several models by using YOLOv8 framework and logging the training process on ClearML.
  • Model Inference: Using multiple models to generate the results, finalize the result by using Weighted-Box-Fusion and display it with the label translated into Vietnamese.
  • Model Deployment & Integration: Buiding a simple FastAPI including asynchronous functions to send the X-ray images to backend and display the result on a .NET website.
Intrusion Detection: Won 2nd place in Duy Tan’s Scientific Research competition (2023)
  • Developing an application detecting intruders in a designated area, playing an alert sound, and sending alerts to the user through mail or telegram.
